Full Version: Nice Longish Piece For Classical Guitar?
Forums > Viva Network > Viva Strings

At the moment, my playing is all based on compilation books (like first repertoire for solo guitar, etc). I'm trying to find a piece that is more sustained to work on. I play at about grade 4 level, so I'd be looking for something roughly in the intermediate range, that will stretch me, but not be impossible to attain.

Do you have any suggestions?

Carcassi 25 studies Op60
You can get from link above. It's in pdf so you need acrobat reader to view and print.
Page 8, study no7 is a grade 4 piece, which is also a good introduction to tremolo. There are also 3 grade 5 pieces, 2 grade 6 pieces and 1 grade 7 piece with the same link.

Oh those look perfect! Thanks! I've enjoyed all the carcassi pieces I've played before, so I look forward to getting started on those.
