I have been to platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross. It does actually exist, but you have to know where to look. I found it by accident as I was trying to find my way out of Kings Cross and into St Pancras....next time I went that route it wasn't there (spooky...), but I have seen it since. I think it only appears at the beginning of term
