I have a Yamaha Clavinova CLP-820, i dont even think they have this model anymore either that or theyve renamed it. I bought it in 1999. For about a year now its occasionally dodged up but it really is annoying me today...It keeps switching itself off when i play a note or doesnt switch on at all, or makes weird beepy noises or weird buzzy sounds, sometimes i turn it on and there IS no sounds. Has anyone else had any experience of this kind of problem?

Dodgy connection? Check all the wires are like connected properly. Apart from that, when the thing comes on but plays nothing, could be a software fault?? If this is the case I'd call it dead, I think...

Seeing as I've plugged and unplugged it numerous times in the [past year I don't think so...it seems to be ok again now (after i got mad and whacked it)

Sometimes that does help. My calculator needs it every time I turn it on. Can't be good for it.
