What version of windows are you running there?

XP, with WindowBlinds (VistaXP skin), and using Konfabulator for the widgets

Might do...never been there so I can't compare. 'Tis definitely the Musikverein...see the statues at the side? Must admit photo is not v. good but when the opportunity presents itself you have to make use of the little technology you have to hand to capture the moment.

And I thought that my desktop looked good.

I've never been bothered to 'do-up' my desktop, because relatively speaking you spend little of your time on the computer looking at it. I like adding extensions (mostly pointless ones) to Firefox though.

I have friends who I think would be less than impressed with me if I made my desktop pic available to the world at large *giggles*

I just thought it was a nifty little applet. I use them surprisingly frequently; certainly enough to spare a couple of square centimetres of screen for.

It's a distribution of Linux - an open source operating system. And the GUI he's running is KDE (just to throw in some TLAs for the sake of it)

Trebor - learnt how to use LaTeX yet? It makes writing formulæ so much easier .

No, people use it on TSR but I haven't looked up anything about it yet.

The Philharmonic Hall just has intriguing sketches of naked women on the walls. One of them seems to be holding a plate on her head, and checking how she looks in another plate...

OK, have the desktop on-screen and then press 'print screen' - it's a key usually at the top right of the keyboard. Might be shortened to Prt Scr.

Then, go to MS Paint, then select Edit > Paste.

The picture of your desktop should appear on screen.

Then save the image.

Then go to www.imageshack.us and upload.

Then copy the link into the reply window
