How do you split the time you have between the different things you need to practice (pieces, scales and arpeggios, sightreading, aural)?

I actually have most of the day to practice so I do about 2 hours pieces (A1,2,and3), scales and arpeggios 2-4 hours, sightreading 1 hour, aural 1 hour so I can practice about 6-8 hours a day.

Btw does anyone have any ideas on how to practice aural on your own (without teacher help)?? I'm doing grade 8 piano.

Try getting hold of the grade 6-8 'Aural Training in practise' book and cd. I found them very helpful for practising on my own- as long as you don't cheat in areas such as singing the lowest part by reading the score in the book!
