Hey, i've been playing sax for 1 1/2 years and i have noticed i've always squeaked on octave "d"s. You know, you press the octave key and all the keys. (tell me if you don't know what i'm talking about.) But i've always had problems with it. Is this normal? I also have some problems with high "g"s.

I also had similar problems, maybe you have slight problems with embrochure or how hard you are blowing maybe someone else who is more experienced could be able to assist us both with this.

hey,
i used to do that a lot. it is most likely your embouchure or try using a different TYPE of reed with the same strength.

Oooo, thanks! I'll look at my embashure (i have no clue how to spell it) and i'll try getting some different TYPES of reeds. Thanks!
