Two questions about this piece: firstly, what book would it be in as a flute solo?
Secondly: does anyone know if it's been transcribed for flute clarinet and oboe trio? As they seem to be the 3 instruments mainly playing the tune and I have a friend who plays oboe and one who plays clarinet... Can't help thinking it would be a great trio!

This may be seem stupid but is that Entr'acte from Carmen?
I'm assuming it is - it's in Peck's 36 repertoire pieces for flute. I'd love to see an arrangement for clarinet & flute if you find one.

Probably... I guess they essentially mean the same thing.
OK doke, thank you!
If I find duet/trio arrangements I'll let you know...
If I had the score I'd do it myself: I wonder if they have it in the local music library.

I think my teacher is doing a flute, clarinet and piano trio for some things from Carmen...don't know whether that helps at all!
