Well, the house is in chaos, there's no food in the place and everything we possess is in cardboard boxes or suitcases. The Italian job beckons (my first day is 1 Feb) so we're setting off by car on Sunday. This will be an adventure in itself given the weather forecast.
Our temporary accommodation has no phone line so this is likely to be my last post for a while. All the best to everybody; I hope the forthcoming forum concerts all go well, and my best wishes to all the performers, both in the concerts and in any exams.
I hope to be back on line in a month or so, but in the meantime wish us well!
Hope to meet up with Stevensfo maybe?!

Best of luck, thouston! We're all looking forward to hearing how you get on in Italy. How long are you going for? - you did say, ages ago, but I can't remember! All the best to you and your husband,

Wow - good luck! Where are you in Italy? I'm near Bologna. If you need any advice or anything I'll be pleased to help out (e.g. Italian bureaucracy!!!) All the best wherever you are.

A completely random comment, but my violin came from Bologna.
