Full Version: Forrest Gump Piano Solo - Differences Between Regular And Easy Version

Does anybody possess both the regular and easy versions of the Forrest
Gump "Feather Theme" piano solo (both Hal Leonard publishing), and if
so can you tell me what are ALL the differences?

I only have the regular version in front of me, which starts in A
major, and after 12 measures of a single note melody, the
right hand starts playing sixths.

I'm wondering if the easy version just transposes the piece, as
altering/simplifying any of the other stuff would certainly make the
piece lose a lot of its impact.

Thanks in advance for any replies,

Miner2049er.

Sorry can't help. I worked this piece out by ear about 3 years ago and ever since it has been my dad's favourite piano tune, I've given up playing it now because when I do, he just whistles it (really badly) for the rest of the day. mad.gif
