Would you like to rephrase the question in English in that case then we might know exactly what you are asking.

jamez882004 is asking how much an upright [piano] would cost and recommendation of a type/make/model number would be appreciated.

yes?

have you considered a good secondhand one, jamez?

wooo hooo

no need to be so picky. It's my guess jamesz doesn't speak English as his first language. His Grammar wasn't perfect but I'm jolly sure he did a lot better than I would if I was asking a question in French, spanish or an Asian language.

I started with a secondhand piano for $800 NZ which I used to grade 2. Then my piano teacher noticed I was developing an unusual upward flick of some fingers after playing a key. When she queried this and I explained that I had to do that to 'unstick' the key ready for the next time she advised my parents it was time to change for a better piano biggrin.gif

Yes, i think if you considered a secondhand piano with a good state, it will be much cheaper than a brand new one, James.

reid-sohn. Their second most expensive upright model is £3000. Ive got it. The touch is very good for an upright.

jamez882004,

We could recommend our personal choice and tell you what we use. However, the best thing to do is to go to a good piano showroom and try them out. Look at the prices after! biggrin.gif

What's the 882004 about? 8th August 2004? It's interesting!

Tell us all what you get in the end.
