I didn't think I'd be able to play Allegro in time either but I love a challenge so I thought I'd go for it! I can play along with the metronome now but that's after practising it til I was blue in the face!

I thought Corant was a nice piece but I wasn't overly keen on playing all those ornaments.
I really hope I don't have an early exam date either - the later the better!
By the way, what pieces are you playing PianoPlayerScottie1901?

Good luck with the Allegro... I'll just blame my incompetence with it on the fact that my hands are too small.

Exactly the same here!
Actually , me too i'm extremely worried about the ornaments in corant
i do them well while practicing , but i'm not sure i'll be able to do them during the exam...
On the other hand, I LOVE "prayer of the matador", it remindes me with the marvellous spanish and flamenco style.....
I find it hard to keep the left hand steady while playing about 6 notes rapidly in the right hand...

Let's just hope that I'll pull it off wonderfully in the exam.

Prayer of the Matador - yes, it's lovely. Surprisingly, I didn't like that one at all in the beginning but the more I play it the more it grew on me.
