Hello, When i want to belt, i find my self unable to belt without slipping into falsetto, (im a male)

I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that beliting was notoriously unstable - so the warbling verges on inevitable, if you're trying to sustain for any length of time.

But I'm sure one of the more technically sussed singers will set me straight on that.

How old are you?

Where are you based. If you are a counter-tenor try to get lessons off one.

Don't like the sound of belting, unless what you are saying is that this is the easiest way of making any volume.

This is absolutely correct, what you're saying. When there is a "big" part in a song, when the music and tension is building and then comes that clear, strong note- i can only sing it in falsetto.

How long is it since your voice broke? And is it completely settled?
What range can you sing in your natural voice, i.e. without going into falsetto? Does the falsetto occur at any pitch, or is it just the high notes?
