anyi out there doin grade 1 theory soon?

Plz help! i cant remember all the words u have to learn:
eg. staccato, lento, Cantabile

I think just going over them again and again helps! Maybe writing the Italian on one side of an index card and the English on another and using that to test you might be a good idea.

Erm, just some friendly advice. Text talk such as 'any1' and 'plz' is banned on this forum because many posters don't have English as a first language and so might find it hard to understand. Also, that font is quite hard to read.

I am not in grade 1 but I remember how I learn those terms...
Find the list or list them down yourself, for the Italians--read it through and cover the answer and say it out...with tips too if you want.
eg. agitato-agitated (very easy one)
allegro-lively, allegretto-rather lively....
crescendo-getting louder, decrescendo-getting softer
& every word with "de" or "dim" in front related to "soft".

for other terms, like staccato, just play a staccato on the instrument, then you will remember it.

Hopes this can help..although it seems not...

P/s don't give up, you will have to learn them until grade 6 and even above.

I play viola and piano and I have singing lessons!
