If anyone's interested, I just found an interesting collection of reviews covering the pieces for the ABRSM clarinet and saxophone exams.

Thanks for that Steve. I'm looking for music at that end of the syllabus for my own teaching and for the teaching dip. Looks a rare neutral opinion, each book will naturally say something positive next to it in a catalogue or people won't buy it!

This is a decent resource. The only problem, sadly, is that the saxophone reviews refer to the 2004/5 syllabus rather than the current syllabus (although of course some of the pieces are common to both). I hope they update the site to reflect the new syllabus, if they do, it would be even more useful!
