Do you have a scale book? That would be a very good place to look, or maybe if you don't have one you could invest...
I'm rubbish at explaining this, I've just realised, I could show you but trying to put it comprehensibly in words is beyond me today.

For dominant 7ths: start on the fifth note of the scale. So for G major, start ond; for C major start on G etc. Then the Dominant 7th is the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th note from your start note, obeying the key signature. So the Dominant 7th in the key of G would be D, F#, A, C, and in the key of C would be G,B,D, F.
Diminished 7ths are made up of consecutive minor 3rd intervals. The start note is given, and it's usually easiest to begin by just learning the four note names and getting used to the sound. If you start on D, your four notes are D,F, Ab and B. If you start on C# you have C#, E, G and Bb, and if you start on C they are C, Eb, F# and A.

First of all, don't panic! If you're not sure of anything, just ask!
Dominant 7ths start on the dominant note of the scale, which is the 5th note. For example, a dominant 7th in the key of C starts on G. It then goes up much like an arpeggio, using the same example (in the key of C) that means your first 3 notes are G, B, D. Then add the 7th (which is the note before G i.e F).
So, a dominant 7th in the key of C is : G, B, D, F and G.
In the key of G, it's D, F#, A, C and D.
I hope that's clear!
Diminished 7ths are rather different. Say, for example, you're asked to do a diminished 7th starting on C. The first note you play will, of course, be C. Then you go up a minor 3rd, to E flat. Then, it's up another minor 3rd, to G flat. From there, up a tone and a semitone to A, then it's up another minor 3rd to C.
So , a diminished 7th starting on C will be :C, E flat, G flat, A and C.
Starting on D, it's D, F, A flat, B and D.
To be honest, in my formative years, I found it hard to get the pattern of minor 3rds worked out, so I just memorised the notes!
And, if you're not sure, about anything, don't panic, and don't be afraid to ask your teacher.
Good luck!
