Full Version: Wahoo!
Yippee! My grandad has finally decided I'm musically mature enough to take up a 'real' instrument! To prove it to him I've had to pass grade 8 bass guitar, grade 2 percussion, grade 5 recorder, grade 3 mandolin, and a proficiency exam in bagpipes! But it's all been worthwhile because now I'm ready for a 'real' instrument and he's given me a clarinet! I love clarinets!

RECORDER IS A PROPER INSTRUMENT!!!But yay! go you!
Oh yeah I agree! All the others are definitely proper instruments! Unfortunately my grandads opinion differs...

Deborah~It's quite an old clarinet made by 'Regent'. I don't know exact model or anything like that.

Matt, is it a "Regent" model made by Boosey and Hawkes? They're super instruments (although I admit to being extremely biased as I learnt on one ahem years ago).
