Hi

I was wondering if anyone has the sheet music for the Titanic, and where it is possible to get hold of it. I've played the simple version of it on my flute, but in the film, there are lots of added notes and it sounds a lot better.

Also, does anyone know what the instrument playing it in the film is? it doesn't sound quite like a flute to me, but kinda similar..... blink.gif

If you're talking about the popular film, have a look at the 1st item, 2nd page of:

thank you!! smile.gif do u think i'd be able to play the treble clef line of piano music on the flute?

Possibly, if it goes within a flute range. It would be better to buy one specifically scored for flute:

i've got the piano version (not sure if it's the one in the links above) i think most of it is possible to play on a flute, but as nicki said the flute version would sound nicer smile.gif and you don't have to panic when you hit a chord either tongue.gif

I taught myself quite a good piano version of the "my heart will go on" song.

Thanks!!! smile.gif

I think the instrument playing at the beginning of Titanic is the same as the one played in 'Nine Million Bicycles' by Katie Melua.

Is that the pan pipes??

It's some sort of wind instrument - but I think it may be higher than a flute - piccolo? I love James Horner's music - all the Titanic music is class.
