I want to learn how to put a website link on these forums without having to put the actual address. Some of you clever ones say look
here or such like. How do you do it?
You could also use this thread for other "hard" things that you want to discover that are in actual fact, really easy!

You click the hyperlink button in the Add Reply option. And it asks you for the address, and the text you would like to appear. I think. I'll check it out.

If you click on "Add Reply", then the sixth icon along in the bar above the reply text is the hyperlink button. Click on that and bob's your uncle....

It's the one with the Globe and the chain beneath it, just right of the text sizings, I think....

Okay, I can do the website link, but how do I insert an image into a post that I have stored on my computer? If I click the Insert image icon I get a box asking me to enter a URL for the image - if the image is a file on my computer it won't have an URL!!!! So how do I do it?

You have to upload it to the internet, using ImageShack (google it) or another image hoster.
When the file is uploaded, they will give you a link and this is what you can copy and paste into that box.
