Howdy y'all, thought I'd share a site I found with you. The prices on it are fantastic; clarinets for £90, flutes for £99, saxophones for £240, and cornets and trombones for £120! I haven't actually bought from this site so I can't vouch for the quality, though it does look quite good. Naturally don't expect anything breath-taking for that price, but it's definitely worth consideration if you're short on cash! The site is www.www.studentmusicsupplies.com

I know people who have used gear4music for cellos which were good for the price!!
Seen this site but dont know anyone who has used them.
As for bassoons, Saramande Music sell cheap bassoons.

How so, IL? Whilst I wouldn't expect a professional standard clarinet for £99, I am sure that elidatrading will back me up when I say that cheap doesn't necessarily mean rubbish. To make a cheap instrument you have to find ways of reducing your costs; the costs which can be reduced include labour, materials and advertising, and I'm sure there are others which I can't think of immediately.
