My daughter, aged 15, has played a cornet and trumpet since the age of 10. For some reason she is humming when she plays. Can anybody suggest a reason why she is humming and does anybody know how to solve this problem? Thanks

Is she trying to hum the tune as she's playing? I don't think I know the answer myself (I'm a clarinettist), but I'm sure one of the many brass players here will know!
