Having sorted out the Recorder Ensemble as far as I can, my thoughts are now turning to the Grand Finale Ensemble and the instrumentation of the piece I've chosen (clue: Monty Python

).
I need to know whether any of the flute players who are coming could play the piccolo (and has one to bring). It's not a problem if no-one has, because it can be played on sopranino recorder, but piccolo might be better from the point of view of balance.
I also need to know if any more bassoonists or cello players are intending to take part. From the list I've been given of those who have applied so far, I only have fluteandbassoon as a bassoonist and meerkat on the cello - and I definitely need more than one on each of the two bass lines!
As an unashamed Monty Python fan, I think I've got it! Let's just hope that at the end of the performance a giant foot won't suddenly come down from the sky and land on our heads

(Python fans will understand!)
Slightly off topic, I'm wondering what the choir perfomance will consist of, and will my average singing voice get round it?
