Right at the end there was a safety car- giving a bit of interest for the final few laps- and what do ITV do ? Go to an advert so we miss the re-start.

They did have a shocker this weekend I miss ad-free-GP

I still wonder why ITV have to do adverts during F1 races - they are able to survive with no adverts for 45 minutes during football matches.

The American Grand Prix is this weekend - hopefully it will not be a six-car race like last year...

I've just read a review of the race - it appears poor Jenson Button retired from the race again. He's just not having any luck at all this season......

There might be a new British driver (Gary Paffett or Lewis Hamilton) racing for McLaren next season with Fernando Alonso - that should be interesting!

The court of appeal of Formula One's governing body, the FIA, said on Wednesday that the team's "mass damper" contravened the sport's rules.

Renault will now have to race in the remaining five Grands Prix of the season without the system. "

Interesting. Quite a gap between Schumacher and Alonso on the grid. If things stay like that in the race, it'll make the Drivers' Championship rather interesting!

The end of an era. I can still remember Schumacher's accident with Damon Hill back in 1994 that won him his first title as though it were yesterday. How time flies........
