Well, Jenson has to win every remaining race and hope Vettel doesn't finish again. Not really going to happen, is it?...

So despite Jenson Button's best efforts, Vettel is champion...

Vettel is a very good driver, but how on earth did he get away with putting Jenson onto the grass at the start? Lewis for sure would have been up before the judge for that move!

And how is it that Massa can attack Lewis's car from the side with no penalty? I am thinking of the Monaco incident when Massa turned into Lewis at the hairpin. What is a racing line for one seems not to have been the case for another. Lewis was very generous in his after race comments, in my opinion.

He only put him 2 wheels on the grass, so Jensen had to back off and give Seb the corner. Otherwise, there would have been a big coming together at the apex. Clearly Jensen wasn't happy, and we may see payback next Sunday!

Aw, bless, he does get quite excited doesn't he? Alas Brundle was tempted away to Sky who no doubt offered him a ridiculous amount of money. Mind you, NOBODY comes even CLOSE to the Golden Age of Murray Walker and James Hunt.

Really enjoyed the Beeb's highlights today and the race. Mmm, oh yes, and Webber looking FIT in rather tight clothing....mmmm...mmmm...no wonder his woman is always smiling.

So we have three winners from three races, and Hamilton top of the standings, even though he's not one of those three winners... It's going to be a close run thing, methinks...

LH has said that this year he is going to be less concerned about going for the win at all costs and aiming for consistency. Well, der, it seems to work. Did he never watch "Professor" Prost?

I think the sky coverage has been very good.

Hamilton got pole position in Spain, but has been demoted to the back of the grid for not having enough fuel on board for a sample, meaning Maldonado has claimed his first ever pole position.

Ouch. I don't like conspiracy theories but that sounds a bit like engineering a good story. Back of the grid is a bit harsh isn't it? Ah well, it must all be in the rule book.

Was teaching all day so radio blackout in the car ready for highlights prog when home. Really enjoyed it and I thought it was a stonking drive from Alonso in a car that is far from right. Delighted for Williams but the fire in the garage after the race looked really nasty.

Felt a bit sorry for Jenson today - and thought he was looking a tad peaky (as opposed to piquet - taDA!!!).

There were eight different winners that year - I wonder if this season will surpass that. The likes of Hamilton, Webber and Raikkonen have yet to win a race. And who knows whether someone like Perez may even win one as well this season...
