Hi, BBCi have got a revision site for GCSE Music at:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/music/

It looks like it might be helpful. Good luck with the exam! tongue.gif

You could try reading the textbooks. Or you could try starting revising more than 2 days before the exam next time you do an exam. Or you could post in the students forum.

Or you could just not revise, if you're confident.

thanks carys i will have a look at it smile.gif

I'm sitting the listening exam on tuesday too! If it's Edexcel like me I can help (the bbc one actually seems to be a little AQA based, I find)
I found a really good site when trying to revise though- try
www.duckmusic.free-online.co.uk
Try the "hot potato" quizzes in the GCSE section to test your knowledge!
Good luck!

I've been doing a one year course and am taking it 2 years early with only one lesson a week, so I think I'm right to be scared unsure.gif
However we've now done 3 mocks and I got 89%, then 96% and then 99%!
Hoping for 100% on tuesday then laugh.gif
Btw did you notice on the stupid (I say it's stupid because I had to fill it out about 4 times because my teacher couldn't read my writing) brief pro forma they wrote "inseted" instead of "inserted" and also on the mark scheme for last year's paper, in question 11 when it asks you to name the 2 sections of the indian piece, it says they are called alap and jhala, but of course the second one should be gat because it has the tabla in!
Doesn't make you confident does it ohmy.gif

i am not confident at all
i love music and i wont it to be my job in the near future but on my mock i got 18%
not suprising when u have a rubbish teacher and dont do any listerning till the week befor the exam
