Are there any other fans out there?
I don't mean just traditional stuff, but any kind of male a cappella quartet-like stuff...
Personally I love it and I sing in a quartet in school... although we spend a lot of the time taking the #### and cracking bad jokes and generally laughing...
I would recommend Da Vinci's Notebook as a prime example of some really funny, yet good music...

Swingle Singers! I've just started an SATB quartet with 4/5 of my brass quintet... it's amazing fun

I like it too! Only yesterday I was surfing the Net looking for info on it. How easy is it to sing this kind of music, do you think, for someone with little group-singing experience?

Well it depends, there are some really quite easy arrangements out there, although if you've never sung in a group it could be slightly harder...
It may be easier to join a chorus, that way there will be other people singing the same part and you can then get used to it...
