but I just wondered, at what age does people have their first girl/boyfriend??

I think I'm bit of a nerd because I'm 18 this year and I never had a girlfiend... am I normal??

Of course you are normal. Don't worry about it. Had my first girlfriend when I was 14, then I went gay and had a serious relationship with a guy for 3 years, who I miss terribly. And now I'm single. There's a lack of good guys n cumbria!

Met my husband when we were both nearly 18. Got engaged to him when we were both just turned 21. Married him when we were just turned 23. And at 38 and a half, still going strong.......

And yes he was my first boyfriend, and I his first girlfriend.

First boyfriend at 16 - also snapped up my husband when he was 16 (I was 23!) Catch 'em young I say when they can still be trained! We are still together 14 years later!

When I was four, I was going to marry the boy next door. But then the boy next door the other side who was three years older started teasing him that I was his girlfriend and he wouldn't even speak to me after that.

First met John when I was none and he was 4 days old, started going out at 19, but had been friends all our lives, got engaged at 21, got married at 23, still together after *mumbles* years. (Katyjay, is there a pattern here!)

Same here. I met my first and only bf at 22. I was his 2nd gf. Did go out before that with just a few other guys but they did not interest me as they were quite boring.

I was.... *thinks* in my 2nd year at uni, therefore must have been 20, I think...

17, The crazy thing is that my hubby has met 3 of my previous boyfriends, and we regularly visit his ex and her hubby. But then what do you expect out of a couple of (now ex) prommers?

I go to an all girls school so i TOTALLY know what you're going through! I met my bf through my piano teacher! She put me in an ensemble on piano with no one that i knew! But it worked out for the best

I remember being like that many, many years ago.

But you won't be 15 and at a girls' school for ever. And things get better as you get out of your teens. Both in terms of meeting other people, and coping with shyness.

Whats weird is that at mixed junior school I was the loudmouth who chased all the guys

Same here but male in an all-male school... looking out on the equivalent all-female school just over the road! I joined the joint afterschool club things which seem nerdy (Japanese lessons, yay!) but I thought it would be interesting.

16, no girlfreind yet, but we'll see, I've been intending to ask out one of the girls in my Japanese class for the last 3 months but still haven't plucked up the courage!

I was at a all girls school.
At age 18 I married bf number 6. Disaster!
Age 24 married again, [had been living together 5 years at that point] lasted 16 years.
Now in a longterm relationship [4.5 years] with NO intention of ever marrying again!

It's a pity it doesn't all turn out well...

The boy's high is just across the road from us but we never get to see any of the guys and there are no joint things that I could really go to... And go for it!!!

I have a all guys school across the road from my all girls school as well!! We share classes with the guys school in 6th formi cant wait lol...oh wait im taken...damn

My first and only girlfriend was when I was 27. I proposed to her a few weeks later and married the following year. This May it will be ten years married.

I could never work out why people wanted to be in relationships in school. I had much more fun studying the piano and reading books and atlases!!

well we have two sets of private schools in jersey Beaulieau Convent school and De La Salle, and then theres Jersey College for Girls (mine!) and Victoria College. There's also other private prep school that go up to 14

had my first when i was ummm *thinks* 11/12 but wasnt serious then had one when was 12/13 which was sort of serious.

Me and my bf's gereal timetables always seem to clash! I asked him if he wanted to go see a movie but something clashed with it! It's always like that...
