I'm looking for the music for a song called 'Begone Dull Care'. I'm not sure if it's a traditional song perhaps - it's not the same tune as the Britten version in Friday Afternoons. The version I heard was in F and the notes at the beginning went something like C F G A A Bb CDCBbAGA.

Anyone know what book this might be in?

It is an old broadside ballad and I am sure that I used to have a copy of it in the News Chronicle Song Book that we kept on the piano as children. There are lots of these around in charity shops and on Ebay.
