I'm bored!
I have no outstanding work, except revision and an essay, but there's no point in starting those until lectures are finished, I've practiced clarinet and piano, I've organised things and written out the whole of my email contacts list coz I'm bored!
Any ideas? Everyone else is doing work because they're busy and important people!

Anything to tidy up? That's always good to do when you're bored.

This forum is chocca fulla teenies whinging about how busy/stressed they are and now we have a thread moaning that someone doesn't have anything to do! Am I alone in finding an amusing irony in this?

I see your point mrB. Maybe we should just all take a leap out of elmos book and get our work done early so that we are more relaxed......

You could do some of my coursework for me, if you like.

Read novels/any kind of books. I'm really sad that I don't have time to read much anymore.

I think the problem with "teenies", as you put it, is that they're only just coming across exams, coursework and actually having to organise their time, something they haven't had to do yet. By university, most of us get into a pattern, and apart from the odd stressfull moment where everything's due in at once, we seem to get by. For me, it's really important to keep on top of things, so I do! And now I'm bored
I've started packing- that'll keep me occupied for a bit!

Elmo:
My post was not a criticism of the teenies. It was just commenting on the delicious irony of your post, in the context of their normal fare (possibly 75% of CISD is taken up with such material)...

No I realised it wasn't a criticsm, I was just justifying why I wasn't stressed, but was bored instead!
Actually, I think the reason I'm bored is coz I've spent the last two weeks running around doing concerts, rehearsals for concerts, work, going to uni and going to school, and after all that, the next two weeks where I have seem nothing seem a bit boring!

Did you give up trampolining through being busy at one point? You could go back to doing that for two weeks

I could, but the trampolining society disowned me because I said (in a nicer way of course) that it was pretty low on my list of priorities and I did it only as a hobby and didn't take it seriously!
I just feel like I'm waiting for something to happen!

I would tell you to try to make something happen, but I'd feel like such a hypocrite. I never seem to have anything to do either (despite being a 'teenie'). I'm either scrambling all night to meet a deadline or not doing anything at all, there doesn't seem to be an inbetween point
