Just received my Grade 3 exam results, and I got 110, so I passed! biggrin.gif

Here are my breakdown of marks:

Pieces
A3: 23 - just about what I was expecting
B1: 22 - wasn't expecting this one to get the worst mark
C3: 23 - I would have wanted more marks for this piece, but at least I passed

Scales: 16 - same mark as Grade 2, so that's good
Sight-reading: 16 - same mark as Grade 2 also
Aural: 10 - pity that didn't go too well ph34r.gif

Like CE, I thought he'd get a higher mark for the third piece - that was the one he played so well at the Festival recently (would have got a 26 or 27 had it been in an exam, I think).

And I looked in absolute horror at the aural mark (he got 16 in his Grade 2 exam, and the aural is very similar for Grades 2 and 3, so I don't know what on earth went on there!! laugh.gif ). CE now holds the dubious honour of achieving the lowest aural mark any of my pupils have ever had ph34r.gif laugh.gif

Apart from that, the marking is about what I'd have expected, so I'm not unhappy.
