Yey! I got my flute exam results and I am so happy. I have only been playing for 8 months and passed my grade 3 with merit. I have done my grades 1 & 2 violin and missed a merit by 2 marks both times, but i got 125 in this exam so was well within it. My results were:
Piece A (Habenera) 24/30
Piece 2 (Hazelnote Crunch) 24/30
Piece 3 (Study in F) 25/30
Scales 20/21 (wow - i was really struggling with scales)
Sight reading 16/21 (well at least i didn't fail it like i did in my last violin exam)
Aural 16/18 (wow again)
I just hope i can do that well when i do my grade 5 in both violin and flute either later this year, or next spring!

Congrats - good marks are worth more the harder the exam is, if that makes sense, so this more than makes up for missing out on your first exams
