Examiners must see loads of school uniforms during exams but I was curious to hear if anyone ended up wearing anything slightly out of the ordinary for their exam , eg exam was just before a fancy dress party or you'd rushed straight in from a rugby match in kit ? biggrin.gif

I think that Cheeble did an ensemble exam dressed as a fairy once...?

I've done a couple in full rowing kit....once it had been raining really badly, I must have smelt of river. Poor examiner. I got my worst ever mark in that exam.

My son did a piano exam with dyed red hair and a red nose once (red nose day).

I'll wear my dirndl for my first exam then, ('Sound of Music' style dress). Might distract the examiner from my beginner's intonation???

I'm thinking of a bikini and sarong for my grade 1 sax - I desperately need something to distract the examiner's attention from my playing. laugh.gif

Ahhh, but a female examiner might not be so impressed.... ohmy.gif

I doubt it! smile.gif

Wouldn't the sarong cover up the bikini ?
noodle
No, I usually wear the sarong round my waist.
