Hey, apart from practising my Grade 6, I'm attempting to learn this on the side.
Has anyone played it before? If you have, do you have any tips for the piece
Also what standard would you say it is?
Thanks

Well, the whole sonata is on the 2nd diploma syllabus (I think). I've only glanced at it, but I goes quite fast!!

Have fun!!

It is - it's an LRSM piece smile.gif.

My tip would be to do a DipABRSM first then have a go wink.gif.

It is one of my favorite piece. 2nd movement is a bit hard to control. Apart from that it is really nice piece to play. Enjoy.

I have recording from Glenn Gould, Mitsuko Uchida and Alfred Brendel. Glenn Gould version for the first movement is almost twice the speed of the other two. However no matter you play it fast or slow, it is equally lovely.
