Just wanted to know if anybody love a special movie because of it's music...

As for me , I really ADORED the music of these :

1) "Dangerous Moonlight " , music by Richard Addinsell
2) "While I live" , music by Charles Williams

I must admit I still love child-like things even thought I'm a teenager now.

I really loved the music from the film, 'The Pianist' & I thought the music from 'Pride & Prejudice' was really nice too.

There's loads I love, but a real favourite at the moment is Gabriel's Oboe from The Mission - I have a lovely piano setting of it plus a really nice accompaniment for whenever I find someone who can play the other part!!

Have never seen the movie though!!

Plus I also love Once Upon a December - my daughter and I play it as a duet which is lovely.

Anything by John Williams (Has anyone got 40 Years of Film Music? It's a big compilation of all his stuff and it's great). I also adore the Lord of the Rings soundtrack and quite a lot of Disney stuff or stuff that has ended up as Disney ("The Lion King" and "Beauty and the Beast" particularly, I think).

The 2nd trumpet in the orchestra I go to is always playing Wallace and Gromit

Really makes me want to watch The Mission - but then I saw a trailer and it struck me as not being my sort of film ..... but then perhaps I shouldn't just the film on a mere 20 second clip!!!

yeah i'm a film musicaholic and have have all these soundtracks , there are loads more but can't think right now!

needless to say I'm not a fan of the harry potter scores

I absolutely love the soundtrack to the film 'Ladies in Lavender', most of which was composed by Nigel Hess - it's BEAUTIFUL!! Especially the final piece 'Fantasy for Violin and Orchestra'. Anyone else like this music??
I also love the music by Michael Nyman for 'The Piano' - wonderful. I've got the music, and would really like to play 'Big My Secret' as it's such a lovely moving piece. But unfortunately it's a bit beyond me and would need a lot of work.....

I like "Tale as Old as Time" from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. I like all of the other Disney music too, though.

I love Schindler's List, I can't believe no-one's mentioned it yet!!! I'm not really too keen on Disney Music, but some of it's OK. And I love Pirates of the Carribbean, it's really great to play as well.

Yeah Amelies great and I adore Micheal Nyman...

But the best film music has got to be 'A beautiful Mind' - seriously if you haven't watched this film do - it is life altering and the music is also! All James Horner music is really pretty though!!!!!!

My favourite film themes are Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park, and Star Wars. Also like the theme from Chariots of Fire.

Amélie music is great! I forgot to mention it earlier... It is easy to play I agree, a lot easier than it sounds.

Lord of the Rings definitely, because I love nearly every single song on there and it works together as a collection.

I also like the music from Schindler's List (so sad), Harry Potter (some of the themes) and of course the Disney tracks.

I love the music from Moulin Rouge! And I really like the Lord of the Rings soundtrack too.

Oh yeah!
I forgot to mention that I really adore LOTR scores And Schindler's List as well...

My favourite is the soundtrack to The Others.
