hello!!!!

just wondering who your favourite film composer/s is/are??? i've recently been getting into films ad listening just to the score. and some of the work these people do is amazing.
like howard shore for example....... his work in the lord of the rings trilogy is phenominal and good john williams........

i've just watched finding nemo..... the composer for this film is good aswell, his approach is somewhat different to other disney composers (thomas newman i think???)

i love john Williams and Harry Potter!!!!

John Williams is probably my favourite, I love all his music. My favourite score of his is Schindler's List, particularly the music over the end credits, but I also really like the scores for the Harry Potter films. So many films with great soundtracks turn out to be Williams compositions, he conducts his own too.

I also really like Howard Shore's Lord of the Rings soundtracks, they're amazing, the way he uses themes for certain places and characters. I've got the 3 CD box set which I listen to constantly. I'm not familiar with any of his other stuff though, will have to look it up!

I also like the soundtrack to Titanic, think it was James Horner... been a while since I listened to it.
