hi, can someone explain to me what can be wrong with my bow? i am not sure if it's due to not enough rosin that my bow seems to make squeaky sound on my strings? however, i applied lots of rosin & it is still the same? will too much rosin cause a problem too?

Too much rosin can make a nasty gratey squeaky sound. Try tapping the wood of your bow lightly - if there's a bit of a dust cloud, you've got too much on.

Something different about the weight perhaps?

Bottom line is, if the bow doesn't suit you, you'd probably be best to send it back if that is an option. I can't see that it can be rosin if it was squeaking before and you have put a lot of rosin on and it's still squeaking. In fact, my guess would be that you haven't got enough rosin on - the hair needs to turn completely white.
