I am a student learning the piano, and I wanted to ask if the Trinity Grade 5 theory test would be acceptable as the pre-requisite for the ABRSM Grade 6 practical exam. Please advice. Thank you.

I didn't know that! I thought that because they were different boards, they wouldn't accept the other grades, but obviously I was wrong. That's interesting to know.

I don't think they did until recently.

They have only just started accepting grade 5 theory from Trinity and LCM. There was somehing in Libretto last autumn about this. Good luck.
