HI, I'm looking for the music recording of Eduard Putz's Blues for Benni, performed on Viola and Piano. I can't find it on Amazon and Googling didn't turn up anything at all. If anyone out there has a music recording of this piece, could you let me know? Thanks!!

It is quite possible that there is no commercial recording of this piece. Could you not ask your teacher to play it to you, or make a recording of it for you?

Alternatively you could try contacting viola players who have it in their repertoire and asking nicely if they could let you have a recording of it for study purposes.

Hi purple viola, I could get my teacher to do a recording, just that he hasnn't played the piece before either, and would probably need to start learning it before he can do a nice recording.
I don't really know any viola players (other than my teacher), do you know any?

Hi Violist, if your teacher is going to teach it to you he will have to familiarise himself with it anyway. My teacher is pretty good at sight-reading grade 8 music so it wouldn't be a problem for him, I imagine your teacher must be at a similar level.

I know quite a few viola players, some professional, but I don't think any of them play that piece as I think it was only published a few years ago.
