Hortus Musicus (dir. Andres Mustonen), Himmel Earth Heaven Erde. One of three CDs I bought in Tallinn, the other two having been mentioned on pages 54 and 57.

Ahhh I love Tallinn!

I'm afraid my musical purchases there were not so distinguied, though - if memory serves, I bought some Estonian pop music (ranging from rather good to hysterically bad!) and the Hilary and Jackie soundtrack laugh.gif biggrin.gif

Give them credit where it's due - they've won the Eurovision Song Contest more recently than the UK has. party1.gif

Hehe, yes - as I say, some of it was pretty good!

One of the CDs I bought had the song from very early 2000s Eurovision on it, which is extremely pretty indeed... here tis, 1999, "Diamond of Night". Still really like this song: prefer the Estonian version though wub.gif

That CD was effectively the Estonian version of "Now 1999" - some of the songs on it are priceless... for all the wrong reasons biggrin.gif I still really enjoy listening to it though, some good stuff, some funny stuff, and lots of good memories attached biggrin.gif

Hey, that was actually on topic now that I am listening to it blink.gif ohmy.gif laugh.gif

PS I'm delighted to know someone else has been to Old Hansa! I have very fond memories. biggrin.gif

A petrol powered hedge trimmer through the shut double glazing, and a LOUD discussion about measurement uncertainties between 3 of my colleagues right behind me. I can't drown either of them out with the Red Priest album I was listening to on my iPod to try to blank out all the disturbances and do some work.

I've given in and started reading the forum instead.

Which reminds me, "Prog Rock Brittania" is being repeated on the Beeb and there was footage of Tull on Top of the Pops from way back (Witches Promise). Jimmy Saville introduced them thus:
"Jethro Tull, here he is". ohmy.gif
