Some stupid music that's playing whilst I hold the phone waiting to speak to a Helpdesk....actually, the music would be fine given other circumstances and if it wasn't consistently interrupted with a chorus of:
"Thanks for holding. We haven't forgotten you, a member of our team will be with you shortly"
grr! hence why there are lots of new posts par moi!

Competitors in the Leeds Piano Competition on the www.leedspiano.com website. All the first and second round performances are now being streamed. The semi-finals streaming starts on Tuesday. Should have been there again today but other events overtook me.
Have a listen to Rachel Cheung second round; Schubert 959, Faure barcarolle and Bacewicz sonata. She is one of my favourites. Also Ham first round playing a Haydn sonata and some spectacular Liszt (Gondoliera, Canzone & Tarantella). Also Minkstimas first round, Mozart 310 and Mozart/Liszt Reminiscences of Don Juan.
These were just a few of the highlights which entranced us live.
Enjoy

. Piano part definitely has its more 'technical' moments though, doesn't it?...

If it's any consolation, the Fughetta is none too easy for the clarinettist either...

never feel ashamed of listening to neil diamond, he writes some of the best sing-a-long stuff there is
and he looks cool in those 70's spangly onepiece suits
and what about this for lyrics -
You are the sun
I am the moon
You are the words
I am the tune
Play me
Genius!
Please note, when singing along, it is compulsory to sing 'toon', not 'tune', and in a heavy new york accent
bach cello suite no. 1
I have just discovered this - it is amazing!
