My sister playing the piano. ph34r.gif She is playing by ear, and is using two fingers. It isn't pleasant, but she is engaging with something musical (which she doesn't do often), so I can't tell her to stop. wacko.gif

The first cut of our Christmas CD. 2 tracks to tidy up, and the cover photo to organise and we can go to print! And it sounds pretty good.............

Maybe subconsciously, but not intentionally! I can't remember who thought up the name, but throughout every winter there is much conversation about Terrence! laugh.gif

The last time I went to Hamley's, I was bitterly disappointed. It was nowhere near as good as I remember it being when I were a wee nipper sad.gif

I popped in the Science museum a few weeks ago and was shocked at how little was on show - one floor was closed for renovation, and the top floor was a bit empty blink.gif

He did the Harry Potter games, right? I remember looking him up before, but I'm not sure...

I'm taking advantage of my year out to have a bit of childish fun biggrin.gif That sounds awful, doesn't it?! I suppose I have a valid excuse, given that my year out wasn't planned. May as well take advantage of the time I have before having it all taken up with university!

Don't go getting involved in any MMOGs... I played City of Heroes for a while and it destroyed my social life for the best part of 8 months... ohmy.gif

Only stuff I'm playing at the moment is Left4Dead and Bioshock (got bored of Prototype). I built a stupidly high spec gaming PC but when I do occasionally play a game, it's usually an old arcade or SNES/N64 game on an emulator... laugh.gif D'oh! Drunken Super Mario Kart Battle Mode is awesome!

Anyways... wildly off topic!

I did think of The Water Babies film... and Tom the chimney sweeps boy!
Sweep thought that part of the flue had collapsed but turned out that (cowboy) builders had flung some concrete down the chimney (instead of putting it in the skip) so it's been there a few years since house was built! ohmy.gif

Alls well that ends well and we have our open fire once more! smile.gif

The only time I ever darkened Hamley's doors (c. 2000) I complained about the music they were playing on the early-learning floor - Salt-n-Pepa, Let's Talk About xeS. The shop staff agreed that it was thoroughly inappropriate but unfortunately they had no choice in the matter. mad.gif
