When we perform a piece we are told to listen to a recording and now I can say I have.

Copland: Appalachian Spring, with added snoring from someone asleep on the sofa next to me (the holiday period has obviously worn her out and her "I'm going to sit and read" didn't have much reading in it!)

I love that piece, when there is no snoring. I have performed it with a couple of orchestras several times on tour and at local concerts.
