That one worked!!!

It's an old ('50s, I think) tune called 'Mexican Flyer', by Ken Woodman and his Piccadilly Brass. Arguably their most famous tune is 'Town Talk', which was used for many years as the theme tune to the Jimmy Young programme on Radio 2.

A brilliant rendition Of Handels Blacksmith variations for Oboe, Bassoon and harpsticord-ITS BRILLAINT!!!!!
The only bad thing about it is that I cant find the sheet music, so it looks like im going to have to arrange it

I think it's time I did some more flexi-arrangements

So I'm listening to various 50s/60s/70s theme tunes/pieces of music that might translate well to flexible ensemble.
Currently listening to 'At the Sign of the Swinging Cymbal' by Brian Fahey and his Orchestra. Gold star to the forumite who can tell me what programme that music is used for.
