Idil Biret performing Chopin's Grande Polonaise Brilliante.
Making a mix tape ... got a bit stuck ... Started with Victor Silvester Orchestra; two tracks from the instrumental Come Dancing vol 1, September in the Rain and Jazz Me Blues. Then The Four Quartets came on Poetry Please and I couldn't resist taping that as well. Had second thoughts about that abridged mix and now with a background my editing has to be right first time or the dreaded click and missed endings ensue. Looks like starting again is the best option.
An episode of Family Guy : quite musical really, the soundtracks are usually very good, and creator Seth MacFarlane is an excellent singer who appeared in the MGM Prom last year

Mind you, some of the pieces in the ABRSM book Spectrum 3 that I've been looking at over the last hour are rather off-the-wall, it must be said! Hard to judge whether or not my renditions are doing them justice though - should have bought the version with CD attached!
