I did indeed! I had a friend who was utterly obsessed by him and insisted I came with her to the gig. I have to say I was a total convert by the end of the evening!

Samuel Scheidt's "Canzon Cornetto".

At the first Baroque day, the whole group played this on a variety of recorders, flutes, a cello and two people - Solari and Clavicembalo - playing one hand each on the harpsichord.

It didn't sound quite like this Youtube clip, but was a lovely memory of the day.
