That's the kind of thing you don't want to be listening to at 1.38am blink.gif

I just had a student request Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit, so I am listening to that and jotting it down for them. Am then going to have a listen to some Percy Grainger as am teaching that a bit later today. Those two tunes could not be more different!!

Wow, that's an amazing coincidence! It's so beautiful... especially the last movement. I have no self control - just requested the score from the library even though my list of things I want to play is already unrealistically long laugh.gif

Right now I'm listening to the Marriage of Figaro though wub.gif At least I won't be tempted to play it! tongue.gif

The only music I ever really listen to is my alarm in the morning! That said, I set my alarm to quality music. Currently it is the fourth movement from Shostakovic's fifth symphony, I think it is definitely good waking up music.

Yay! Both fun pieces I played... five-ish years ago biggrin.gif I'm getting old... But anyway, the J.C. Bach/Casadeus (I think it's actually mostly Casadeus to tell the truth...) is a great piece - the last movement is quite tough though! Not easy to nail in performance... And the second movement of the Tchaikovsky is just beautiful! wub.gif I'm jealous of you horn players...
