Schubert D946 No.2 - I'm completely in love with this piece, can't stop listening to it and I can't get over the contrast between the main "theme" and the dark tension in the penultimate section of the piece. I've been toying with the first page at home and am wondering whether I have a hope in h3ll of learning the whole thing....

There is a beautiful arrangement of this for violin with piano accompaniment, its easy, about grade 5. PM me and I will send you a copy. My partner's brother gave me a copy with the intention of us playing it together, but we still have not managed to get together to play it as life is so busy... !

I've got a simpler arrangement for piano which is lovely - it's really difficult to make those block chords sound good though.

I've only really sight-read through it to be honest, it's on my list to do!

EDIT: Ahhh, just had to go and have a play through.... Gorgeous, even with all my mistakes and scant regard for dynamics on the page...

I really wish I could play this piece - it's amazing.
