A bit of Mode Plagal (Greek jazz funk) and a song in Welsh entitled Dwr about the annihilation of the village of Capel Celyn in 1963 by the corporation of Liverpool.
now I'm upstairs in my own space I've got Glosoli by Sigur Ros on. I am getting into Sigur Ros big style, it's music that really touches on the erogenous zones of your inner soul. Shall be downloading much much more when I get my data limit reset.

These radio 3 in-depth weeks are fascinating. You don't
have to listen to them, of course. They did one on Chopin some while ago and I'm not a great fan, so I mostly went somewhere else and read or watched a dvd while my OH sat and luxuriated. But I'm really enjoying the Schubert week. Poor little fellow!

Ann Hobson Pilot playing John William's On Willow and Birches which he wrote for her. Bargain for about $Aus2.50 on i tunes.
Then when that is over unfortunately we will have to put on the ditties for the Catholic Schools Music Festival for practice - things like Titanic Medley (the worst of the lot tied with You Make Me Feel Like Dancing), Hot Chocolate, You Raise Me Up, Oh Happy Day, Will You Teach Me, Do You Know the Way to San Jose and others of similar ilk. Its a long time 'til September for the event too. We sang things like the Dream of Gerontius at school. Its certainly a new era.
