I have just discovered Mahlers 6th Symphony, having been given as CD at Christmas. I thnk I prefer it to his better known 4th and 5th.

I agree, but not easy to play ! I can 'get through' through the prelude after a fashion, but I'm nowhere near on the fugue!

Yes I've seen it twice, hopefully going a third time if it stays in the cinema long enough!!

The baseball scene really is fantastic!! I love Muse

Which is why I am listening to 'Knights of Cydonia' at this present moment in time. And two seconds ago I was listening to 'Space Dementia' from Origin of Symmetry - fabulous piano part!!

Me too!

She's playing at the wiltshire music centre in march, which is only 20 minutes away where i have orchestra practise, so i might go and see her play, i think she's playing more schubert.
