Hi everyone!

I really need some help...

I have a friend who is really into classical music; in particular, the composer Handel and Baroque music.
I wanted to buy him a book, but not a biography...

Any ideas for what I could get... any recommendations?

I would really appriciate if if you could help me with this please...

Thank you very much,

Leila x

Erm.. not necessarily in terms of instruments or written music itself, but books relatining to him and Baroque music perhaps... not quite sure what, but not a biography... if you know what I mean..

Or perhaps any other ideas? unsure.gif

Thanks smile.gif

Hmmm.. not a bad idea...

What would you get someone who really likes Handel? If we move away from the arena of books...

I know this is kind of hard, though! laugh.gif

Don't know whether this will help but Janexxx off the forum got me a Christmas present. It is a book called Bach, Beethoven and the Boys, and it is about music history in a rather not serious style!

There is a website address on the back - www.soundandvision.com

How about a CD with some of Handel's music on if he likes Handel smile.gif? Better check what he already has first though....

Nicki_flute, thanks for the site - sounds like a good one... I will have a look through it biggrin.gif

AnotherPianist, I know exactly what you mean... I think he has them all laugh.gif that's why I'm going to avoid that part - but cheers for that!

buy him some bookmarks or statues of Handel?
or some lovely accessories with Handel's face?
That's what I always buy for myself.
