Not exactly - only violin is orchestral, recorder if it's a baroque orchestra, but piano isn't and nor is singing.

PS To Alison, Yes I have got a bombarde - got one in Brittany last year. It has a double reed, is some bizarre key and exhausting to play. In a Breton band there are often a pair of bombarde players so they each play two bars so they get a rest !
